MARTIN'S STORY

“As a teenager, I hated my soft belly, skinny arms and legs and pasty white skin (I was too embarassed to take off my t-shirt in public). I could not do a single push up or run for a few meters before gasping for air. I was bullied, laughed at or at best ignored. build muscle

My tipping point was watching Rocky IV movie when I was 15 years old. From that point, EVERYTHING changed…

I was frustrated about the way I looked and feel. I hated my soft belly, skinny arms and legs, pasty white skin (because of this I NEVER took my shirt off).

I could not do a single push up or run for a few meters before gasping for air. I was bullied, laughed at or at best ignored.

On top of being skinny-fat, I also developed gynecomastia – male breast tissue enlargement. The combination of these two events resulted in terrible bullying and me feeling ashamed of my own body for years.

I isolated myself from others. I felt depressed, angry and envious of other guys being good at physical sports and being admired by girls.

My tipping point was watching Rocky IV movie when I was 15 years old. From that point, everything changed.

The next day I looked up a gym and started lifting weights to become strong, big and powerful. All I wanted was to build muscle.

Since those early days, I have tried every training and nutrition program I could find. I hired the best physique and strength coaches to mentor me, attended seminars, I flew around the world to study from the brightest minds.

In 2010 I became a full-time personal trainer so I could invest all my time and energy into learning more to become a better coach, and then put my skills to practice coaching clients every day to see what actually works in real life.
